What do you make at Made in Cobham?

We specialise in high-quality, custom 3D printed products — from unique homeware and practical gadgets to bespoke commissions designed just for you.

What materials do you use?

We print mainly using PLA, a biodegradable plant-based plastic, but also offer other materials (such as PETG for specific projects. If you’re unsure which is right for you, get in touch and we’ll guide you.

Can I request a custom design?

Absolutely! We love bringing your ideas to life. Send us your design files (STL/OBJ) or a sketch of what you’d like, and we’ll work with you to make it happen.

Orders & Delivery

How long does it take to process my order?

If we have the item in stock we will dispatch the item the next working day. However, most orders are printed, quality-checked, and dispatched within 3–5 working days. Custom or larger items may take longer — we’ll let you know timings upfront.

Larger orders may require additional processing time to ensure each item is carefully prepared. We work through orders as quickly as possible, but please allow extra days for larger purchases.

During peak times, including the festive season, processing and delivery may take longer than usual. We do our best to dispatch all orders promptly, but delays can occur due to high demand and courier capacity.

To ensure your order arrives in time for Christmas, please place your order by 15th December. Orders placed after this date may not arrive before Christmas.

Do you only ship within the UK?

Yes, currently we ship across the UK. Local collection in Cobham may also be available — contact us to arrange.

How much is shipping?

Standard UK delivery is £4.99. Orders over £50 qualify for free delivery. Express shipping options may be available at checkout.

There is also an option for collection. Should you require this, please contact hello@madeincobham.com.

Can I choose colours?

Yes! We stock a wide range of filament colours. If you have a specific request, let us know when placing your order.

What file formats do you accept for custom prints?

We work with STL, OBJ, and STEP files. If you’re not sure, just reach out and we’ll help you prepare your design.

Safety Information

What age group are these toys suitable for?

Our toys are generally intended for children aged 3 and above. Some designs may contain small parts that pose a choking hazard to younger children.

Are these toys safe to chew or put in the mouth?

No. These toys are made from PLA plastic or similar materials intended for play, not for consumption. They should not be used as teething toys or chewed.

Could parts of the toy break off?

While our toys are designed to be sturdy, small parts may become loose if the toy is dropped or handled roughly. Adult supervision is recommended, especially for younger children.

Can these toys catch fire?

Yes, 3D-printed plastics are flammable. Keep toys away from open flames, heaters, and other heat sources.

Are the materials used non-toxic?

Our toys are made from standard PLA and other common 3D printing materials, which are generally considered low-toxicity. However, they are not food-safe and should not be ingested.

Do these toys comply with UK toy safety regulations?

Our toys are designed with safety in mind, following guidelines of the UK Toy Safety Regulations. Please note that some designs are intended for decorative use only and may not meet formal toy safety testing requirements.

Csn these be used outdoors?

Occasional outdoor use is fine, but prolonged exposure to sunlight or moisture may warp or degrade the plastic.

What should I do if a product breaks?

Immediately remove any broken pieces from children and discard the damaged toy. Do not attempt to repair with adhesives unless you are certain it is safe for continued use.

Who is responsible if a child is injured while using these products?

We take safety seriously, but products should always be used as intended. Adults should supervise young children. By using the products, you agree to follow the safety guidelines provided.

What if there’s a problem with my order?

Can I return a custom 3D print?

Since custom orders are made especially for you, we can’t accept returns unless there’s a fault. For non-custom items, our standard return policy applies.
